Joe Fitzpatrick signs with Warren Boxing Management

Belfast lightweight Joe Fitzpatrick has signed terms with Warren Boxing Management.

‘The Dragon’ has previously worked with Mark Dunlop before returning from a year and half absence under the Boxing Ireland.

Topping Celtic Clash bills the talented southpaw claimed victory in a West Belfast Derby, beating Stephen Webb by stoppage before going on to win the BUI Celtic title via victory over Iago Baros.

The 26-year-old then challenged for the Irish title in one of the most eagerly anticipated domestic meetings in recent years, losing out to Kildare’s Gary Cully in the Ulster Hall.

Fitzpatrick hasn’t been seen since that February 2020 reverse but had been linked to big fights on future Celtic Clash cards, a bout with Declan Geraghty being the most recently muted clash.

However, he has teamed up with Warren Boxing Management a management company with links to Frank Warren and Queensbury promotions but not one to be mixed up with the big British promotional set up.

WBM is run by Alfie Warren a nephew of Frank Warren and their fighters do find themselves on Queensbury promoted BT Sports cards and it seems card across the water seem the likely destination for the Commonwealth Games medal winner.
