Jimmy ‘Kilrain’ Kelly to fight for belt on WW3 card in Manchester

Manchester-born light middleweight Jimmy Kelly [15(7)-0] will aim to win his second professional belt at the weekend on the massive ‘World War III’ card in the Manchester Arena. The unbeaten 23 year old will look to add the WBO Inter-Continental belt to his WBC World Youth on the Boxnation show.

Kelly will face South American opposition on Saturday in the form of Argentina’s Martin Fidel Rios [16(8)-6(2)-3]. Rios, also 23, is a former Argentinian middleweight champion and will be a tough foe for the ten round bout.

If Kelly continues his progression and secures the belt at the weekend it could set up mouthwatering bouts with Belfast’s Dee Walsh or the London-born Gary Corcoran.

World War III can be seen exclusively live on Boxnation TV (Sky channel 437).
