JAMIE KAVANAGH MOVES TO MGM MARBELLA
JAMIE Kavanagh has joined the swarm of Irish fighters joining MGM Marbella.
After an impressive pro career Stateside with a record of 18-1-1, Kavanagh is now looking to make a name for himself in Europe- and the former Golden Boy fighter  has chosen MGM to lead the way,
“I am very grateful for the opportunity to push my career in the right direction; they are very open and willing to help. All my career has been in the USA and UK and Irish
boxing is different, so I need a help in the right direction,” said Kavanagh.
The former Golden Boy lightweight is training with Mark and Jimmy Tibbs in London, but will be managed by MGM and will use their gym facilities in Spain when needed.
The former Freddie Roach trained puncher wants to fight in the UK before September is out  and has targeted an Irish debut before the year is done.
“Next year I have got my eye on Derry Mathews, Anthony Crolla, Steven Ormond and Terry Flanagan to name a few; there are more but these speak out above the rest,” he added
“They are close to world title honours and I want that too!”
MGM Management are very pleased with their new signing, they said “We have followed Jamie throughout his career and know he has got what it takes, we are going to support him however we can and are very pleased to finally welcome him as part of the team.”
