Adrian Dimas Garzon has been confirmed as Jamie Conlan’s Second Coming opponent.
The Argentine will man the opposite corner as ‘The Mexican’ returns to the venue he electrified with a gutsy display against Junior Granados earlier this year.
The popular and likable Belfast super flyweight earned himself an easier test after getting up of the floor to win a Fight of the Year contender in July and while Garzon isn’t a gimme win Conlan will be confident of victory as he takes a step closer to a mouthwatering clash with Paul Butler.
El Renegado has lost 18 of his 28 fights, has never fought outside of South America and has just one stoppage from his 10 victories.
Throw in the fact the traveling fighter is 39, and undefeated Conlan will believe he will have too much for the Argentine..
However, if the thrilling Granados clash thought him anything, its not to underestimate challengers who have been afforded the chance to impress in TV outside of their homeland.
