It’s official Frampton will fight Leo Santa Cruz in the Summer
Carl Frampton will finally get to trade leather with Leo Santa Cruz.
‘The Jackal’ has been pursuing a MEGA fight with the tree weight World champion for a number of years now and fight fans got excited when new broke today the pair looked set to meet on a card that would also play hots to a world title fight between Andy Lee and WBA World middleweight champion Danny Jacobs.
That excitement has reached fever pitch now after the Ireland’s first unified World champion confirmed he will move up to challenge Santa Cruz for his WBA featherweight World strap in the late Summer.

No details beyond the fight has been agreed have been released, but rumours suggest it will take place in New York on July 30.
There has also been no conformation that Lee and Jacobs will play out on what looks set to be a PBC promoted Showtime Broadcast card.
