Irish Tommy given Matchroom opportunity

Top Pro Gif Ad
After a tough few weeks, Irish Tommy Carter [1(0)-3(1)] has been given the opportunity to box on a huge Sky Sports card.

The Tideswell middle of Drogheda descent has been added to the Frankie Gavin v Sam Eggington ‘Bragging Rights’ undercard at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on October 22nd.

Carter will face ‘Ruthless’ Ryan Kelly [6(1)-0] on the card over four rounds and will be looking to bounce back following two successive losses.

The ‘fight anyone’ 21 year old began September with a win, but two successive losses, the second of which was a second round stoppage to Tey Lynn-Jones, left him disheartened.

The clash in two weeks time also provides Carter with a new opportunity to fight on a big Matchroom card following his rejection of an extreme short notice bout against Felix Cash on the Josh Warrington v Pajo Hyland undercard in July.
