Irish Squad to face Ukraine this month

AIBA World No. 8 ranked welterweight Clare Grace has been named in the Irish squad for a double header of Elite internationals with the Ukraine at the National Stadium in Dublin and at the St Brigid’s BC in Kildare at the end of the month.

Irish Youth Olympian Christina Desmond and World Youth silver medallist, who Grace, a European Elite bronze medallist, beat on a split decision in January’s Elite 69kg final, has also been called up to the Irish team, along with current Elite champions Louise Donohue, Lauren Hogan, Debbie  O’Reilly, Dervla Duffy, Kelly Harrington and Dianna Campbell and Kayleigh McCormack, Moira McElligot, Grainne Walsh and Fionna Nelson.
