‘Irish Psycho’ Tony Bates claimed his second victim  on the JNI Show in Hurstville last Friday night.
The Clondalkin fighter, who is on the up Down Under, registered a third round knock out victory over debutant Matt Bune.

The former St Matthews amateur, who now fights out of the Body Punch Gym in Sydney, signalled his intent from early on with some heavy handed shots.

His aggressive approach eventually paid dividends come round three as the 23 year old forced referee intervention.

Bates made his debut on the Billy Dib vs Jorge Lacierva undercard with a 4 round unanimous decision win and followed it up with his first pro stoppage over the weekend.

Bates will be looking to make it three from three when he returns to the ring at Orion Function Centre, Campsie, New South Wales in October.
