Irish fighter added to Haye comeback undercard

David Haye returns to the ring after over 3 years at the O2 Arena on January 16th against Mark De Mori and the massive London show will also feature an Irishman in a big fight.

With the late withdrawal of chief headliner Billy Dib, it has been announced that Galway welterweight John O’Donnell [30(11)-2(1)] will face Shayne ‘The Pain’ Singleton [21(7)-1(1)].

30 year old southpaw O’Donnell, a former Commonwealth champion, is hoping to get back into title contention following a period away from the ring.

Lancashire man Singleton will be looking to continue his recovery from his only career loss against Sam Eggington last year.

TV details for the card have yet to been announced although it has been strongly hinted that the show will be streamed live on YouTube.
