Ireland and UK television details confirmed for Mick Conlan’s second pro fight

Like his debut in March, Mick Conlan‘s second pro fight will be shown on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Belfast super bantam’s pro bow at the Theater at Madison Square Garden was shown Stateside on UniMas and on this side of the pond via BoxNation.

This scenario will be repeated this coming Friday night (May 26th), with BoxNation this morning confirming that they will air Conlan’s fight in Chicago at the UIC Pavilion.

Conlan heads to the Windy City, another major Irish hub, to face Mexican Alfredo Chanez [4(2)-4(0)] over six rounds.

The fight comes two months after his unprecedented debut where he stopped Tim Ibarra in the third round in New York on St Patrick’s Day.

This debut fight was shown on Irish terrestrial television via RTÉ on primetime tape delay, and a similar situation is also hoped for here.

Once again, Conlan will headline the Friday night Top Rank card.

Should the Falls Road 25 year old come through this weekend’s bout unscathed he will fight on the Manny Pacquiao v Jeff Horn undercard in Brisbane on July 2nd.
