Geurreros fight for Gardner this weekend- ‘Breakfast Roll’ makes WSB debut

Current Irish Elite champion Dean Gardner will make his World Series of Boxing (WSB) for the Mexico Guerreros in North Africa this Saturday.

The Clonmel BC super-heavy is due to line out against an opponent to be confirmed against the Algeria Desert Hawks in Blida, Algeria.

The Mexican side are lying in fourth spot in Group A.

Gary Sweeney, Olympic BC, Galway, beat Romanian heavyweight Jitaur Ionut-Mirel of the British Lionhearts on a unanimous decision (50-45,50-45,49-46) on his WSB debut for the Guerreros in York Hall, London last month.

Zuar Antia will be working Gardiner’s corner in Algeria this weekend.
