FULL FIGHT: Tyrone McKenna v Sean Creagh

Tyrone McKenna defeated Sean Creagh last night in a battle of the Irish light welters in Belfast.

The hugely-anticipated clash lived up to expectations, with an exciting clash of styles ending at the end of the fifth of eight rounds with Creagh’s corner pulling their man out.

While Belfast’s McKenna was always on top, and looked better and sharper than he had ever done before, the bull strength of Creagh saw the Dubliner have spots of success.

In the end however, ‘The Mighty Celt’ was just too good and after becoming increasingly dominant in the fourth and fifth, the fight was called to a halt.
