Fighter Favourites: Sean Creagh

Our weekly feature Fighter Favourites sees us ask Irish punchers their preferences from the world of boxing.

This week it is the turn of Dublin light welterweight Sean Creagh [4(2)-1(1)].

Q: Favourite Current Fighter?
A: That has to be Gennady Golovkin, by far. I can’t wait to see him live in Madison Square Garden on St Patrick’s Weekend against Danny Jacobs. Going over for his and Mick Conlan’s fights.
.
Q: Favourite Fighter of All Time?
A: Mike Tyson. The man was just a pure beast. His power and ring presence was something else.

Q: Favourite Irish Fighter?
A: That would have to be Matthew Macklin. He has been in some great fights over the years and he is also a top bloke.

Q: Favourite Fight?
A: Easy. Matthew Macklin v Jamie Moore for the British light middleweight title. What a fight. Toe-to-toe all the way through and they became good mates after it

Q: Favourite of Your Own Fights?
A: Might sound weird, but it would be my BUI Celtic title fight against Tyrone McKenna last November. Even though the result didn’t go my way, the build-up and everything was a great buzz. It was great to be involved in a big show, and I can’t wait to be part of another.
