Feargal McCrory to make fantastic charity donation from ticket sales for next fight

Tyrone super featherweight Feargal McCrory [4(1)-0] is known as a crowd-pleaser and a big ticket-seller, but the Coalisland man is going above and beyond ahead of his fight later this month.

McCrory headlines the inaugural Kieran Farrell Promotions Belfast card which takes place on Saturday April 22nd at the Devenish Complex, and ‘Fearless Feargal’ announced tonight that he is to donate the commission from his ticket sales to a worthy cause.

The John Breen-trained fighter said that “100% commission of all my ticket sales will be donated to a charity close to my own family and to help raise awareness on this particular disease, Crohn’s and Colitis!”

“So thanks to everyone going, you’re not only helping me, you’re helping so many others.”

McCrory isn’t the first ticket boxer to make a charitable donation from his ticket sales, with Paddy Barnes pledging to donate his commission to to a different charity each fight, starting last month with the Northern Ireland Children’s’ Hospice.

In just over two weeks time McCrory will face Liverpool’s Jay Carney [5(3)-1(0)-1] over eight rounds.

Co-headlining the night will be Cork-Cuban heavyweight Mike Perez, while there will also be appearances for Mathew Fitzsimons, Mark Morris, Daniel McShane, Joe Fitzpatrick, Ger Healy, and professional debuts for Sean Higginson, Sean McGlinchey, and Sean Magee.
