Dublin debut dead heat for ‘Dark Horse’ Mullen

Dublin super middleweight Ciaran Mullen closed the show tonight at the MGM ‘Second Coming’ bill with an exciting scrap against late replacement Christian Hoskin Gomez. After four close rounds at the National Stadium the novice pro was adjudged to have drawn with the tough Spaniard.

In what was definitely a good learning fight for the MGM puncher, Mullen impressed with his work-rate, conditioning, and some very nice straight shots.

Gomez however was game and scored well on the inside, and the final scorecard of 38-38 was a fair one

Mullen’s professional record now reads 1(0)-0-1, while Gomez moves to 1(1)-8(0)-2.
