Cyclone Promotions promote an exciting local derby next month at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast between Conrad Cummings and Alfredo Meli, and the events promoter, Blaine McGuigan has admitted he would like to see more local fighters facing each other in 2016.
McGuigan specifically mentioned two fighters on All on the Line November 20 show Paddy Gallagher (8-2) and Matthew Wilton (11-0), a fighter recently linked to Tyrone McCullough, as one derby he would like to promote.
Speaking to Irish-boxing.com McGuigan said, “Both of them are boxing on our next bill. I’d like to see that fight happen for a Celtic Title.

“Maybe they’re a bit early at the moment. They know each other and they’ve boxed each other in the amateurs. It’s a great fight down the line, and maybe we can do that fight in 2016, if both parties agree.”
