Carroll and Geraghty to fight on Matchroom shows in April

NO it’s not the rematch, but the participants of the BUI Irish fight of the Year for 2014 will both appear on Sky Sports broadcast Matchroom bills in April.

Lightweight former Senior Champ and Irish amateur International Declan Geraghty will be out first trading leather on April 4 in Newcastle. ‘Pretty Boy’ will be planning to look good on the under card of Bradley Saunders homecoming bout in Newcastle. That card will also play host to heavyweight prospect Anthony Joshua, who has an Irish granny, comeback from injury.

A week later Prizefighter champion Jono Carroll will fight for the first time since signing pro terms with Matchroom. ‘King Kong’, who has moved down to super featherweight will trade leather on the undercard of Josh Warrington’s WBC International title fight in Leeds on April 4.
