Bradley Pryce promises Keeler knockout

If the Pryce is right, Luke Keeler will be stopped late in the headline fight of Red Corner Promotions debut bill in the National Stadium on Saturday night.

Former European title challenger Bradley Pryce [38(20)-20(4)] comes to Dublin in confident mood and predicts he will upset ‘Cool Hand’ and the Stadium faithful in the process.

The 35 year old believes Dublin’s Matchroom fighter will be surprised by the tempo he sets and won’t be able to keep pace.

Speaking to Irish-Boxing.com after he weighed in he said that “I never like to predict a knockout, but I come on strong in the later stages so I will say I am going to stop him in the later rounds. Happy Days!”

“I fight strong for 12 rounds, this is only an eight rounder so I won’t be breathing heavy come the final stages. I will be picking it up down the stretch.

“I don’t know how many rounds he has done, but if he hasn’t done more than six he will know about it. People don’t understand the pace I set until they are in the ring with me. I like a good active fight and he will feel the pace from the start.”

While Pryce is talking about setting a pace Keeler [10(5)-2(1)] won’t be able to live with, he also suggests that he will put the breaks on the train and use a skill set to ensure victory too.

The former Commonwealth champion explained how “I like to think I am getting wiser as I get older. I pick my shots better and I won’t rush forward like I have in the past. I was just like a steam train coming forward, forward, forward, but that doesn’t show off my skills.”

“I have beautiful boxing skills and I will show them off tomorrow. If I need to get involved with him it doesn’t matter. I can fight either way and if he wants a fight he can have one.”
