Betting Odds for Phil Sutcliffe Jr v Chris Jenkins
Irish bookmaking giant Paddy Power have priced-up Saturday’s clash between Phil Sutcliffe Jr [11(7)-1(0)] and Chris Jenkins [16(8)-1(0)-1] which is scheduled to take place on the Belfast Boxnation show at the Titanic Exhibition Centre.
A bout which has come somewhat out of left field, it is an opportunity to impress on a big platform against a big British name, something that Crumlin’s Sutcliffe has long called for, and the oddsmakers are slightly favouring ‘Succo.’
The power-punching Dubliner is 4/7 to triumph on Saturday in the eight-round BUI Celtic Warrior title fight. Jenkins, a former Prizefighter winner and two-time British title challenger, is the 11/8 underdog. A draw can be had at 20/1.
The fight is Jenkins’s first since his British title loss to Tyrone Nurse last year, while it is Sutcliffe’s second under the MGM banner following his move this Summer.
