Lee predicts Wlad will be glad this weekend

Wladimir Klitschko’s eagerly anticipated July 2 unification bout with David Haye has gone beyond business and boxing and become personal, according to the Irish fighter with the inside track.

The dislike IBF and WBO title-holder has displayed for the Londoner is not a ticket selling ploy according to Irish middleweight and Klitschko’s stable mate, Andy Lee.

The Limerick man revealed his fellow Kronk fighter is upset with the pre fight actions of the English man, who seems to have a Klitschko decapitation fetish, and is on course to record dominating victory.

Lee also stressed Haye’s antics and bravado has given the 6ft5in Ukrainian and extra edge in the gym and believes as a result we will see the fighter, who is one knock out short of the 50 mark, at his best in Germany this weekend.

Speaking to Mirror Sport just minutes after he watch a Klitschko work out Lee said

“Wladimir has been looking excellent in training. Honestly It’s the best I’ve ever seen him. There’s an extra edge to him that I haven’t seen in previous fight, he’s meaner in sparring, he’s very sharp and what people don’t realize he is really fast. This is the biggest fight of his life and he seems ready to win. I think it’s going to be a dominating victory for Wladimir. Haye has talked a lot of smack and has been disrespectful to both the Klitschko brothers and it’s become personal to Wladimir, He genuinely dislikes Haye.”
