Niall Kennedy going to the next level on November 6th

He may have had only two professional fights, but Niall Kennedy doesn’t intend to hang around in meaningless fights. The Wexford heavyweight fights in his third paid outing on the Tony Davitt-promoted Red Cow Moran Hotel show on Friday November 6th.

After beginning his career with a points victory over the ever-tough Moses Matovu, followed by a KO victory in Boston over Alando Pugh, Kennedy will now fight in his first six rounder.

Indeed Kennedy’s increase in rounds comes just a day before his former amateur rival Sean Turner fights in front of the Boxnation cameras on the MGM-Promoted ‘Second Coming’ show at the National Stadium. While ‘Big Sexy’ has been recently talking about a future Irish title fight with ‘Big Rogie,’ Kennedy’s is quietly and quickly moving into contention himself.

The immensely popular Gorey fighter features on a packed nine fight card that also includes headliner Ciaran Bates, Stephen Carroll, Alan Donnellan, Ger Whitehouse, Darren Cruise, Matt Wilton, and the professional debuts of both Lynn Harvey and Manny Bique.

Tickets for the Friday Fight Night can be bought from all the boxers involved now.
