New Matchroom signing Burnett – ‘I am 100% bringing Sky back to Belfast’

Bantamweight hotshot Ryan Burnett has promised to bring the Sky Sports cameras back to his home city of Belfast.

The 23 year old signed with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Promotions over the weekend and told IFL TV that he has big plans.

The Adam Booth-trained starlet revealed that ‘my goal in the not to distant future is to have my own show in Belfast’

The former Youth Olympic gold medalist reasoned that he has the perfect blueprint to follow, explaining that ‘I look up to Carl Frampton.’

‘If Carl can do it, I can do it.’

‘My goal is to put on a big show just like Carl has, get all the fans just like Carl has.’

‘I think I’m very capable, I believe in my ability.’
