The build up to Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko’s rematch at the Manchester Arena has been kicked up a notch with the release of the heavyweight duo’s ‘Face to Face’ promo.
The segment, aired on Boxnation TV (who will show the July 9th clash), was moderated by John Rawling and verbal to-and-fros were typical (if you can describe anything he does as typical) Tyson Fury who was self-depricating throughout.
In his own stream-of-consciousness style, Fury described his unpredictabilty as well as his bipolar tendancies, although should be noted that the piece was recorded at the time of the first press conference, before Fury had started camp and gotten into shape.
With many people predicting a more aggressive Klitchsko, it was interesting to see Fury state his willingness to trade with the deposed Ukranian heavyweight king. The former Irish heavyweight champ cited how it was he who landed the better punches in the twelfth round when Klitschko went chasing a knockout.
