Big and tough Hyland is no walkover says Warrington

Josh Warrington has talked up the challenge of Jobstown’s Pajo Hyland ahead of their featherweight clash at the weekend.

Recent World title challenger Hyland takes on the Matchroom star in front of his frenzied home support at the First Direct Arena in Leeds live on Sky Sports 1 on Saturday night.

‘The Leeds Warrior’ has World title ambitions, and is chasing an eventual fight with Lee Selby, but he claims he is not underestimating the Dubliner and praised the 32 year old’s abilities.

For British fans who may be unacquainted with “The Punisher,” Warrington wanted to stress that Hyland, who will be the larger man on the night, is “no walkover.”

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Englishman explained that “Hyland has challenged for a World title and an interim and he has fought some good names, he’s tough and he has fought some big names, so he is experienced.”

“He’s been training out in America before and I think he’s been sparring out there so that teaches you so much and the one thing I do know is, he’s a big featherweight.”

“Hyland can bring plenty of cards to the table and I have had to take on on-board in training and this is certainly no walkover.”
