Walsh takes step up in class on Dee Day card

DEE Walsh will be stepped up another level when he faces a very strong and experienced Polish fighter in Patryk Litkiewicz in the Devinish on June 6.

Come to win fighter Litkiewicz win boasts a record of 16 wins (10KO) against 7 losses with only one stoppage reverse. Two of his defeats have also come in World Youth Title fights against world rated operators.

At 25, Walsh knows it’s time to move on and the Irish light middleweight champion see’s the 23 year old Pole as a stepping stone toward more titles.

Litikiewicz who is on a roll knocking out 5 of his last 8 opponents is well aware that victory over Dee Walsh will earn him another title shot of his own giving the bout somewhat of a 50/50.

Walsh takes to the ring on ‘Dee Day’ topping a bill that also features the new BBBofC Celtic featherweight champion James Tennyson, who aims to keep active until his British Title Shot comes up in the not too distant future.

The chief support will once again be the very talented and popular Paul “Hylo” Hyland Jnr who will look for another test. James “The Future” Fryers, Gerard Healy, Darren Cruise and Alan Donnellan all look to improve their records.
