VIDEO: Joe Smith Jr’s stunning upset knockout of Andrzej Fonfara
Joe Smith Jr shocked the boxing World last night with a first round knockout of elite light heavyweight contender Andrzej Fonfara.
The Irish Bomber had his Polish opponent down twice in the first round of the Premier Boxing Champions headliner at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.
Before the bout, Smith had been as long as 14-1 with some bookmakers but the heavy-handed Long Islander flattened the fancied Fonfara with a huge right hook before finishing the dazed home star moments later.
