Eddie Hearn claimed a ‘unanimous victory’ for Team Quigg after the press tour for Frampton v Quigg ended in a packed Europa Hotel, Belfast on Wednesday.
The Matchroom boss and Quigg promoter claimed Team Frampton were very emotionally charged and expressed an opinion that, over 100 days out from the fight, the press antics have given his man a slight advantage.
Hearn wasn’t foolish enough to suggest Quigg, who has been promoted to WBA World champion after Guillermo Rigondeaux was afforded the ridiculous title of ‘champion in recess,’ gained a massive advantage for February 27th, but did claim the Bury mans performance over the three days could give him a marginal advantage come fight night.
Hearn also took time to tell Irish-boxing.com about his plans for new Belfast signing Ryan Burnett, talked February 27 and some of the Irish fighters in his stable.
