Top Irish prospect signs up with Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions

Top Irish prospect Joe Fitzpatrick has been signed up by Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions on a long term contract.

The lightweight Commomwealth Silver medalist recently made his pro debut in Belfast where he registered a first round KO win over Ignac Kassai.

His impressive amateur pedigree as well as his exciting pro debut has convinced the Queensbury Promotions team to sign up the talented prospect to a long term deal.

Fitzpatrick’s manager Mark Dunlop said “I’m delighted to announce that I have today negotiated a fantastic opportunity for Joe Fitzpatrick to join Frank Warren, Queensberry Promotions & Boxnation on a long term contract, big thank you to all concerned.”

The Belfast boxer will fight again for the first time as a Frank Warren fighter on the ‘This is It – Feile Fight Night’ in West Belfast on August 1st.

The deal could have a knock on effect for other fighters in Dunlop’s MHD Promotions stable with more of his fighters expected to feature on Frank Warren promoted and Boxnation televised cards in the future.
