The Magnificent 7 – Top Irish prospects announced for Frampton-Donaire undercard

There were seven undefeated fighters added to the massive Carl Frampton v Nonito Donaire undercard this afternoon.

Four Irish and three English prospects were added to the bumper Queensberry bill at the SSE Odyssey Arena in Belfast on Saturday April 21st.

The quartet of Irish fighters are welterweight KO machine Lewis Crocker [4(4)-0], Rio Olympian Davey Oliver Joyce [5(4)-0], Commonwealth Games silver medalist Steven Ward [6(2)-0], and European bronze-winner Tyrone McCullagh [9(5)-0].

In addition, Troy Williamson, Alex Dickinson, and Sam Maxwell have also been added to the bill. All seven are managed by Mack The Knife Global.

Joyce, the Frank Warren-promoted Crocker, and Ward all featured on the Carl Frampton v Horacio Garcia undercard in November, while Derry super bantam McCullagh headlined the Ginley Promotions ‘Danger at The Devenish 2’ bill the following month where he stopped undefeated German Tom Tran.

Before the April fight date, Mullingar super featherweight Joyce has to overcome his Dublin debut next Saturday night [February 3rd] on the SK Promotions ‘Collision Course’ card at the Citywest Hotel.

With the BT Sport-broadcast card still over twelve weeks away, there may also be interim fight for the other fighters announced today.

The seven join an undercard that also features three top all-Irish fights, with Conrad Cummings facing Luke Keeler, Tyrone McKenna taking on Phil Sutcliffe Jr, and Jono Carroll fighting Marco McCullough.
