Spike: We are already talking about Paddy’s Day World title tilt

He has the not so small matter of Chris Eubank Jr to overcome on December 12th, but so confident is Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan of victory, that he is already exploring his World title options.

The Cork middleweight not only gets the chance to settle his differences with the English puncher in London before Christmas, but could earn WBA World middleweight title mandatory status with victory on the Bad Intentions PPV card.

Indeed, ‘Spike’ is that sure that he will burst the Eubank Jr bubble, he has already been exploring a bout with the winner of Peter Quillin and Danny Jacobs regular title fight.

With O’Sullivan’s promoters Murphy’s Boxing links to Al Haymon and their presence in the U.S East Coast area, a clash with either New York resident shouldn’t be to hard to make.

“We’re talking about it already.” O’Sullivan said on Thursday. “New York, Madison Square Garden, Paddy’s weekend. Both the lads are from New York so we’d love to do it there. I don’t think I’d be lacking in support.”

“When you go out there for the first time, second, third, or fourth changing over the time difference, weather and everything else, I think it’s beneficial that I’ve already fought out there.”
