Size difference – WATCH Carl Frampton and Jamel Herring weigh each other up

Carl Frampton and Jamel Herring today came into close contact for the first time since November 2019, when a world title fight between the pair was first muted.

The pair were both present in Dubai for the final press conference before their historic fight, set to play out on Saturday night.

With size difference being one of the main talking points between the pair it provided fight fans with a chance to see how the elite duo shaped up against each other.

Herring brings a seven-inch reach advantage into the fight and at a 5’10 stands five inches taller than the man trying to take his WBO world super featherweight title off him.

Victory for Frampton this weekend would see him become Ireland’s first three weight world champion and cement his legacy as a great in the world of boxing.

The undercard includes an interesting fight for Tyrone McKenna. In the chief support bout the ‘Mighty Celt’ takes on undefeated Kazach Zhankosh Turarov in what promises to be an interesting fight.
