Prizefighter Champion Martin Rogan looks set for a lucrative showdown with 2000 Olympic Champion Audley Harrison.
Although contracts have yet to be signed, irish-boxing.com believes that the contest will take place on a Sports Network card broadcast on Setanta Sports sometime during the summer.
Rogan, a member of John Breens Belfast camp, took the Prizefighter title after cruising to three victories in one evening in London last month.
The 36-year-old will still appear on Tommy Egans debut card at Tallaght Basketball Arena on July 5.
Victory over Harrison could secure Rogan a crack at either the British or Commonwealth heavyweight crowns.
