Quigg: I will have too much for the ‘best ever’ Carl Frampton

‘The best Carl Frampton there has ever been’ will be on show come February 27 claims the fighter he will be facing in the massive World title fight.

However, even the most dangerous and focused ‘Jackal’ will be no match for Scott Quigg, says the Bury man himself.

Speaking to Sky Sports news about the eagerly anticipated super bantamweight bash, Quigg was in confident mood and suggesting he has improved since his two round knock out of Kiko Martinez.

Indeed, the Bury native, who has been surprised with just how ‘big’ the clash has turned out to be, says he will have to much for the IBF World champion.

“People always raise their game for a big fight so I’m expecting the best Carl Frampton there’s ever been, better than any tape I have ever seen of him,” said Quigg.

“But I don’t care how he turns up because I know I have improved massively since my last fight and I am going to have too much for him.

“There is no added pressure on me because I have a fear of failure and a fear of losing and that’s the pressure I always deal with. I’m more than confident when the pressure is on. I thrive on it.
