We’re only a day away from one of the biggest Irish title fights in recent times.

While we are open to correction, and please give us your suggestions, James Tennyson v Declan Geraghty is perhaps the best Irish title fight since Andy Lee’s clash with Jason McKay for the super middleweight belt back in 2007. Another suggestion was when 8-0 prospects Sam Storey and Steve Collins went to war in Boston in 1988.

An impossible-to-call ten-round bout between a hard-hitting destroyer with under-rated skill, and a southpaw slickster with plenty of grit, it’s a fight not to be missed.
