Pictures From a Dramatic Night in Nottingham

Now that Mick Conlan is ok we can reflect on what was a brilliant night of action in Nottingham on Saturday. I

t wasn’t perfect from an Irish perspective considering Conlan had a dream world title snatched from him right at the death – and it’s true that defeat could have a big impact on the sport as a whole here – but there were things to cheer about.

Gary Cully continued his transition from prospect tp contender and did it so under serious spotlight for the first time, Caoimhin Agyarko cruised to victory in a chief supporting role and Thomas Cary cemented his status as a new heavyweight to look out for.
