Irish lightweight Stephen Ormond is looking forward to his next big fight appearance as the 27-year-old contests an eight-rounder on the Ricky Burns-Andreas Evensen card on December 4 in Glasgow. Ormond bettered East Ham southpaw Johnny Greaves on the Glasgow undercard of Ricky Burns’ title winning barnstormer with Roman Martinez in September, in what was the first fight of a deal with Frank Warren.
Trainer Paschal Collins, a former pro himself and brother of ex-WBO super-middleweight king Steve, has brokered a deal for Ormond and Irish middleweight champion Gary O’Sullivan to fight on Warren shows.
