PBC fight date for Noely Murphy
Noely Murphy [6(2)-0] has been handed the chance to impress ‘boxing’s most influential man’ Al Haymon and those at Premier Boxing Champions.
The Lou DiBella-promoted Leesider will trade leather for the seventh time as a pro on a high-profile Premier Boxing Champions card at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut on Thursday July 21st.
The undefeated Macroom-born Woodlawn-based fighter, whose last scheduled appearance was cancelled at short notice, is set to square up to Colorado boxer Isaac Johnson [2(0)-3(0)]
The clash will play out on the undercard of fast-rising Ukrainian middleweight contender Sergiy Derevyanchenko. The Technician will take on Australian former World champion Sam Soliman.
The card will be broadcast live on ESPN, but it is currently unconfirmed whether the Cork light welterweight’s fight will be aired.
