The massive World heavyweight rematch between former Irish champ Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko has not been re-arranged for October 29th according the Dr Steelhammer’s camp.
Bernd Boente, the manager of the former Ukrainain heavyweight king, told Boxing News that claims that the pair’s rescheduled rematch was confirmed for late October are not true.
Both Tyson Fury and uncle and trainer Peter earlier in the week said the fight would take place in Manchester on October 29th, not long after Boente had discussed the same date with German Newspaper Bild.
However Boente is now singing something of a different tune.
“There is no news yet on the rematch, no date, nothing.”
“Whatever the guy is tweeting is wrong. Nothing has been finalised yet,” he said.
