‘Big Sexy’ will appear on an MGM promoted show in Marbella, which will also feature the debut of English youngster Sunny Edwards, on Saturday September 24th.
The 25 year old will be looking to get off the mark in 2016 following a frustrating year so far which has seen numerous cancelled dates and a no contest.
On the news, Turner admitted that “I’m just happy to be in the ring again and shake off some of the ring rust.”
“I’ve had talks with my team and they have big things planned for me and now it’s up to me to deliver.”
MGM management hinted at a busy conclusion to the year for the knockout artist, and described how “Sean has knuckled down and shown a fantastic attitude in his training and preparation.”
“He has trained hard with his coach here in Spain and we have put a plan together for Sean for the remainder of the year. ”
“We can’t wait to see him box again on September 24th.”
The fan-friendly puncher remains a contender to appear on the Belfast Boxnation show in November as he looks to build his record ahead of a title assault in 2017.
