Regardless of where and when is next two bouts are McCloskey looks set to have another big year and is certain what he wants to fight for over the next 12 months.

“I want to be fighting for a World title in my next two fights,” he told the Newsletter.

“That is the aim and if I can fight for it in my next fight, that would be great. Talks are on-going at the minute and hopefully it will be sorted out sooner rather than later. It is an honour to fight for a World title and if you do it once you do it again. Once you get the taste for fighting at the level, you want to do it again and again.”
