Marco McCullough v Declan Geraghty – BETTING ODDS

The bookies can barely split them.

Irish super featherweights Marco McCullough and Declan Geraghty do battle tonight in Belfast in one of the closest, on paper, domestic dust-ups in recent times.

By far and away the best bout on the #MTKFightNight bill at the Ulster Hall, the pair clash for the minor IBF European rankings title and the chance at national supremacy.

An impossible to call fight between two boxers that have shared wins and losses in the past and now meet each other looking to set up one last shot at the big time.

Going by the bookmakers, it is essentially a pick’em fight.

McCullough is the slightest of favourites at 10/11 (General), with Geraghty being the same price with most outlets as well although he can still be had at EVENS with William Hill. An interesting and potentially lucrative bet is the draw which comes in at 20/1 (SkyBet, William Hill).

Going into the Method of Victory markets, the two are inseparable. Both are 5/1 to score a stoppage (Paddy Power, bet365), while respective points wins come in at 2/1 (Betfred).

While the bookies have found it impossible to split them, McCullough and Geraghty’s repsective home cities of Belfast and Dublin have both sided with their man.

A polling of the Irish boxing community says that Geraghty may perhaps edge it, only just.
