Major 1C side bring home former League of Ireland player

A club on the up has brought home one of it’s favourite sons.

Patrick Dobbs has resigned for Dunboyne the club he made his name at as a youth.

The attacking midfielder was standout for the Meath outfit at underage level and moved to underage powerhouse St Kevins.

The skillful player then progressed to Kildare County where he played Under-20 and then League of Ireland football.

Nigh on 10 years later and he is back where it all started and will be hoping to play a big part for the LSL Major 1C side this coming season.

Dunboyne have enjoyed great success in recent seasons picking up five separate pieces of silverware and winning four successive promotions under manager Jason Ruane.
