Lynn Harvey finally gets second fight date

Exactly one year and one day since her debut, Lynn Harvey [1(1)-0] will finally return to the ring.

The Kilbarrack super flyweight will appear on the Red Corner Promotions debut show at the National Stadium on November 5th.

It will be a return to the venue of Harvey’s 2014 Senior Title win and it is expected that the Dubliner will bring a large and loud crowd.

On her debut last year at the Red Cow Hotel the Daniel O’Sullivan-trained Harvey needed less than a minute to demolish Ivana Yaneva in front of a huge support – who, to their credit, stayed for the entirety of the card to cheer on each and every Irish boxer.

An exciting power-puncher, Harvey is one of just two female pros in Ireland, with the other being two-time World title challenger Christina McMahon.

Frustrated by a lack of dates since then, Harvey described how she is “out for blood” and that “I’ve improved loads and promise to put on a show.”

The Celtic Warriors puncher joins gym-mate Luke Keeler, Balbriggan’s Crank Whitehouse, and Breen Team duo Feargal McCrory and Ruairi Dalton on the card, with more to be announced.
