Long-awaited return to the ring confirmed for Craig O’Brien

After over 17 months out, Craig O’Brien [3(0)-0] will finally return to the ring next month.

The Dublin light middleweight has been confirmed for the Red Corner Promotions show at the National Stadium on Saturday February 25th.

The silkily skilled 27 year old has linked up with Celtic Warriors Gym boss Paschal Collins, and ‘The Iron’ will box in a six-round contest at the home of Irish boxing.

The well-supported O’Brien, something of a local hero in his community, said that he is “delighted to be back fighting in the ring again after a long year out of it. I can’t wait to get back at it.”

The inner-city talent joins Noely Murphy, Allan Phelan, Jay Byrne, Jake Hanney, and Connor Coyle on the bill with more to be confirmed soon.

An opponent for O’Brien will be announced in the near future.
