Keeler hoping to burst Ball a former Eubank Jr foe on big Leeds card
Jason Ball has been confirmed as Luke Keeler’s next opponent.
It’s ‘Cool Hand’ versus ‘Daddy Cool’ in Leeds on September 5 as Keeler returns to the ring against the respected journey man.
Doncaster native, Ball has won just nine of 29 fights, but has proven capable against a number of middleweight prospects.
The 31 year old brought the likes of Chris Eubank Jr and Lewis Taylor the distance, challenged for the English 160 lbs title and has only been stopped three times in 19 fights.
Ballyfermot naitve Keeler has his sights set on bigger names, but Ball seems an ideal opponent for the undercard of Josh Warrington’s defence of his WBC International title.
While numerous people were suffering broken hearts on Valentines Day this year, the Celtic Warrior Gym fighter was nursing a broken hand. He hasn’t fought since that disappointing Prizefighter night and Ball looks certain to give him some much needed rounds, yet still offers Keeler the chance to out do Eubank Jr and the like.
