John O’Donnell OFF Haye comeback undercard
In some disappointing news, John O’Donnell has been forced to withdraw from his British welterweight title final eliminator with Shayne Singleton.
The Galway southpaw’s clash with Singleton was due to be chief support to former cruiserweight and heavyweight champion David Haye’s return from a three year retirement against Aussie Mark DeMori.
Alas, O’Donnell will now not appear on the card at the O2 Arena in London and screened live on Dave as he has come down with the flu.
The former Commonwealth champion [30(11)-2(1)] will be hoping for a quick return to the ring after this setback which has continued a stop-start last few years for the Irishman.
