Stephen Carroll [4(1)-0] will face Irish opposition when he makes his step up to eight rounds next month.

The Ballyfermot light welter will face Jamesy Gorman [8(3)-28(3)-1] on the Prospect/Wilton show on Saturday November 26th at the Shorts Sports & Recreation Club in Belfast for the Celtic Nations title.

37 year old Gorman is former BBBoC Northern Irish champion, defeating Gary Hamilton in 2007, as well as being a two-time Irish title challenger having lost in consecutive fights to Andy Murray and Billy Walsh for the light welterweight and welterweight titles respectively before taking an eight year hiatus from ring action. The Belfast man would return as a journeyman at the start of the year, appearing in 16 contests in eight months, but will be fighting to win in his home city next month.

Also appearing on the card in the Titanic City will be Matthew Wilton, Luke Wilton, Casey Blair, Mathew Fitzsimons, and Gerard Whitehouse.
