WATCH: Irish boxer gives funny drunk interview after winning fight

Here at Irish-Boxing.com we’re massive fans of Darragh Foley [10(7)-2(0)].

The Blanchardstown light welterweight is based Down Under in Sydney and has made a real splash on the Australian scene with his big-punching trash-talking style.

The Dubliner is pure Hollywood, with some real entertaining outbursts and an appetite for domestic rivalries – even pelting George Kambosos Jr with Pampers nappies from ringside last year

‘Super’ last weekend defended his WBA Oceania 140lbs title with a win over Argentine veteran Sergio Eduardo Gonzalez. Foley took the bout on the scorecard (97-94, 98-92, 100-90) after a scrappy contest.

Afterwards the Irishman indulged in a few well-earned post-fight pints, and would then give T2T Boxing an amusing interview.

A slightly merry Foley would give an honest appraisal of his win, as well as his thoughts on the constant heckling he received from the fans of Kambosos Jr (who won the headline bout on the night, outpointing Brandon Ogilvie in a WBA lightweight world title eliminator).
