Fitzgerald to return to the ring in March

ANTHONY Fitzgerald will fight for the first time since knock out defeat inflicted by domestic rival Gary O’Sullivan in March.

The former Irish champion returns to the ring on March 28 and will fight on a Manchester show.

The bout will be ‘Fitzy’s’ first at light middleweight and the Dubliner will be keen to make a return to winning ways at his new weight.

Speaking to Irish-boxing.com earlier this month the 29 year old promised to make a major impression at his new weight.
