OISIN Fagan has finally secured a bout with Chris Goodwin and will trade leather with the 25 year old at the fourth time of asking.
Gael Force had agreed to fight the English fighter a number of times previous only for the fight to be canceled for differing reasons each time.
However the duo will finally get it on in the Northgate Arena, Chester on the 12 April.
The WBF Intercontinental lightweight title will the prize on offer as the 41 year old former Amir Khan and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr foe and Goodwin.
Teak tough, Fagan gives away 15 years, but the 40 year old is confident he can defy the odds.
“Yeah, I’m the underdog, against an up-and-comer, 15-years my junior but, being Irish is the great equaliser and he’ll come out of that fight knowing he was in a hell of a scrap. I promise you that.”
